Worship Services

Sunday Worship 10:30am Worship services are held in the Sanctuary every Sunday at 10:30am. South Church is active in the community’s interfaith services on Ash Wednesday and Thanksgiving, participates in a pulpit exchange with Temple Emanuel in January, and holds special services like the Prayers for the People, Blue Christmas, Maundy Thursday services for example. Our services seek to relate the bible to everyday needs and current events as well as provide a balance of music which appeals to a wide range in tastes. South Church is a church for children where children are welcomed, valued, cherished and included. The Church is an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ and welcomes all no matter your age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, race and ethnicity, physical and mental ability or economic circumstance: YOU are welcome here!
