South Church is hosting an evening with Andover High School’s Principal Peter Anderson on Wednesday, May 7^th at 7:00pm. Topic: the “Over-Scheduled Teen”. Please join us for an evening of education, awareness and discussion of one of Peter’s favorite topics.

Our 2008 Confirmation Class, parents and sponsors are invited as well as other interested parents within South Church and the Greater Andover community. Please pass the word.

ALL CHURCH PICNIC  & CHILDREN’S SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

are coming up  . . . June 8^th

You won’t want to miss this special day of celebration which includes a worship service led by the church school youth followed by an old-fashioned All Church Picnic. Children are encouraged to attend Sunday School during the next few weeks in order to plan and prepare their part in the service.  More on that later . . .

Fellowship, CE, Deacons and Youth Ministries are in the process of planning the All Church Picnic.  Follow the smell of grilled hot dogs down the stairs after the Children’s Celebration Service, right on out to the north lawn where you can spread a blanket or set up a chair and dive into the large array of yummy picnic dishes.  Sit back and relax or participate in relay races and water balloon volley ball.  Hot dogs, chips & drinks will be provided.  Bring a salad or dessert to share!  If last name begins with A-M bring a salad;  N-Z a dessert.

ELDERCARE RESOURCE FAIR

Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Lawrence, a coalition of faith communities, social service agencies, and health organizations working together to serve elders and caregivers, will sponsor its 2nd Annual Eldercare Fair at St. Michael’s Church Parish Hall, 196 Main Street, North Andover on Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
